Also known as the Battle of Roberts Ridge, in honor of Navy Seal Neil Roberts, what makes this story unique for us now is that it is the first story of a Medal of Honor recipient caught on arial drone footage.

This one leaves us pondering how mankind can ever be redeemed, if at all, in light of how humans can treat one another.

Dan, a USAAF airman, entered WW2 at just 17 years old and would forever be shaped by the horrific experience he endured when captured and sent to a prison in Switzerland and seemingly abandoned by his country.
